Nearly a century ago, a sandy foot path connected Hellendoorn, Nijverdal, and Holten. But there was no place to rest one’s weary feet along the way. Until about 90 years ago. With a clear vision of the future and a nose for entrepreneurship, Mrs. Mollink instated a teahouse and a watch tower. A big hit! Because today, De Uitkijk Estate is a favourite location for many to take a break from their daily lives.
